Smyth County Families,
We continue to celebrate the smooth transition to four days of in-person instruction for Smyth County students. While parents continue to have the option to keep their child virtual through the remainder of this academic year, we are offering another transition to in-person instruction. If you are interested in transitioning your child(ren) from virtual back to in-person instruction four days a week, please call your child’s school by noon on Friday, March 19. This timeline will allow us to develop plans for your child’s arrival for their first day of instruction after Spring Break. Wednesdays will continue to be used for teacher planning and virtual remediation. As a reminder, students will return to school on Tuesday, April 6 following Spring Break. Thank you for your continued support of Smyth County Public Schools.
Please stay safe,
